Pahalgam attack. Is the government really taking this attacks seriously?

Pahalgam Terror Attack 2025: Full Look at the Baisaran Shooting

At least 26 people killed as per the reports, After the recent terror attack in Pahalgam in 2025, a big search operation has started. The Army, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), and the police of Jammu and Kashmir have closed off the area. Helicopters were used to rescue the people who were hurt in the Baisaran meadow, which is hard to reach. Local people helped by carrying the injured people on small horses (ponies) down the rough paths to Pahalgam.

Because of this terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir, the state government has opened emergency control rooms that are open all the time (24×7) in both Anantnag and Srinagar. People in charge of airplanes and airports have stepped in to help families who are stuck and sad. Airlines like Air India and IndiGo are adding more flights to and from Srinagar. They have also removed the fees for canceling or changing flight times. The Minister for Civil Aviation, K Rammohan Naidu, has asked all airlines not to increase ticket prices right now.

PM Modi on the Kashmir Attack

Prime Minister Narendra Modi ended his two-day trip to Saudi Arabia early because of this attack. He was supposed to come back on Wednesday but returned to New Delhi late on Tuesday instead. After arriving early on Wednesday morning, PM Modi had an important meeting at the airport. He met with the National Security Adviser, Ajit Doval, the Foreign Minister, S Jaishankar, and the Foreign Secretary, Vikram Misri, to talk about what happened after the shooting in Baisaran.

PM Modi strongly criticized the killing of civilians in Pahalgam, saying, “I strongly condemn the terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. I feel sorry for those who have lost their loved ones. I hope that the injured people get well soon. All possible help is being given to those who are affected. The people behind this terrible act will be punished… they will not get away with it! Their evil plans will never work. Our determination to fight terrorism is strong and it will become even stronger.”

#What the public wants:

The Modi government probably thinks that a tweet, a meeting, and canceling a trip will solve this problem, but that won’t happen. These continuous attacks are not only questioning the BJP government but also Indian security. The government should focus more on internal security than on foreign trips.

Until when will we continue to see such incidents in a paradise like Kashmir? Is the government truly taking these attacks seriously, or is it just a show? This is a very big question.

This isn’t possible without internal support. It has come to light so many times, but isn’t the current government capable of investigating this? Will we only see air strikes during election time? This government is either too involved in politics or is just putting on a show. But the attacks don’t seem to be stopping.
